Sarah Phillips is a Regional Financial Consultant (RFC) with Farm Bureau Financial Services and a member of the Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho sales team. Paul Johnson is an agent in the Falls Avenue office in Twin Falls.

Please join me in congratulating Paul Johnson for an incredible January filled with momentum to kick off 2021! Paul is a 27-year agent located in Twin Falls and is off to a fast start to qualify for All American after placing a 72K LPC cross-purchase plan in the first month of the year.

What a phenomenal case and testament to the desire for and value of what we can provide our Farm Bureau families!

This case was opened as the result of a meeting scheduled by Paul Johnson during a 4th quarter activity contest put on by his district manager. Paul set the meeting for two young partners who had recently inherited the business from their father and were in the first year of making some major financial and strategic decisions to protect what he had built. We were able to create a cross-purchase plan customized to their goals and priorities and they were incredibly grateful to have a solid roadmap for how their families and business were now protected.

Phenomenal work, Paul. I am so excited and happy for your incredible case and huge success! Sometimes these sophisticated cases close quickly and other times they can take years. You did the most important step - you set the appointment and positioned Farm Bureau as the company that could protect their livelihood and futures. And it is true! What a great feeling.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR RECENT SUCCESS WORKING WITH SARAH.

With Sarah’s help, this year will be a record life production year for me. Sarah and I met with a pair of clients concerning a buy-sell agreement, and because of Sarah’s great knowledge and presentation skills, were able to complete the transaction.

WHAT WAS YOUR IMPRESSION OF THIS JOINT WORK?
Sarah's professional demeanor is truly a marvel to observe. When she made her initial presentation, the insureds were definitely in full attention and you could see the respect within them. Her experience shows as well as her sincerity.

This is not the first time Sarah and I have worked together. We have partnered on a couple other scenarios and she displayed the same caring professionalism in every instance.

ANY ADVICE FOR AGENTS WHO HAVEN'T RUN JOINT RFC CASES?

My advice to any agent is to utilize joint work with the RFC – in particular Sarah – whenever possible. In my experience, calling in a professional for assistance is always a success, whether the case is closed now or later.
