ASPIRE Awards 2021:
"Adapt. Overcome. Succeed."
"The Agent of the Year award is more accurately a team or agency award. I'm honored and humbled to accept these awards on my team's behalf." -Kendon Perry, ASPIRE 2021 Agent of the Year

With all the challenges in 2020, our agents stepped up and exceeded customer service expectations. They found new ways to interact with clients in an increasingly virtual world, and helped move themselves and their clients closer to the goals they had set for themselves. Or in other words, our agents learned to adapt, overcome, and succeed in 2020. Which is why, according to Chuck McDaniel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, our sales theme for 2021 is: Adapt, Overcome, Succeed!
"We did this in 2020." Chuck said in his ASPIRE program welcome message, "and we can do it again this year. Bring on 2021!"
Todd Argall, Executive Vice President and CEO, echoed Chuck's sentiments in his ASPIRE welcome message, saying:
"This new sales theme [Adapt, Overcome, Succeed!] reflects the approach and mindset needed to meet the challenges that we face in our changing business model and in our everyday lives. It also is very applicable to our 2021 sales conference."
There were times when it wasn't certain ASPIRE would take place at all, but the Home Office team organizing the event adapted to the changing pandemic landscape, overcame the many obstacles they encountered, and succeeded by carrying off the ASPIRE Agent Awards – albeit on a smaller scale and on the road – in high style.
“It was great to be in front of our agents, in person, to share an update on the direction of the company," Todd added. "Our agents are critical to the success of our organization."
Sandpoint agent Kendon Perry, who took home the ASPIRE Agent of the Year award, also enjoyed the event. "ASPIRE 2021, although limited in attendance, was an example of the great team we have at the Home Office. Todd and Chuck’s team were very innovative in creating a great ASPIRE event at the Home Office as well as the ASPIRE road show."
Todd expanded on Kendon's comments about ASPIRE, saying, "Even though COVID-19 prevented us from bringing everyone together in one venue, the ASPIRE road show created an opportunity to share information directly with our agents in a small group environment. Our Sales & Marketing team did a super job putting ASPIRE together and the agent turnout at the meetings was excellent.”
Reflecting on his Agent of the Year award, Kendon said. "I’m very fortunate to have a great team supporting our business and working on our clients' behalf, The Agent of the Year award is more accurately a team or agency award. I’m honored and humbled to accept these awards on my team's behalf."
