After over 18 years of dedicated service, Grangeville CSR Audrey Payton will retire on
September 28.
When did you begin working at Farm Bureau?
I began working here in December of 2004.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I was born and raised in Grangeville. I have lived in Lewiston for the past
17 years, but have commuted to Grangeville all these years.
What were some highlights about working for Farm Bureau?
I have really enjoyed my time working for Farm Bureau. We have great clientele here in Grangeville, and many of those customers have become friends. I will especially miss all of my coworkers. All of us have a great working relationship with each other, and we are our own little family.
Tell us a little bit about your family.
I have two daughters, Alicia and Erika, and am married to my husband, Pat. I also have three grandchildren; Isla, Grady, and Scout.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love spending time outdoors - especially gardening, tending to flowers, fishing, and boating.
What are your retirement plans?
We are looking forward to traveling and spending lots more time with the grandkids who live on Whidbey Island.
NOTES FROM AUDREY'S COWORKERS
Simply put, Audrey is the face, heart, and soul of this office.
Her time here has been nothing but enjoyable.
Audrey and I have been friends for over 40 years and I couldn’t ask for a better friend.
She does on occasion, yell at me, spit on me, and beat about the face and neck area but not so bad it bruises.
I have learned how to act in her presence.
She will be truly missed and I wish her nothing but the best.
-Mike Asker, Agent, Grangeville
I worked with Audrey's supervisor for six years.
Audrey is an amazing individual who always went above and beyond for her customers.
She always welcomed her customers in with a smile.
I enjoyed working with Audrey and wish her the best in her retirement.
She will be missed by her customers and her team.
-Barbara McClure, CX Field Specialist, Dalton Gardens
Audrey Payton has been like a mother to me.
Since I started here 15 years ago, she has been the rock in our office. Everything from making sure I return phone calls on time, to making sure my writebacks are answered.
She is the first face you see when you enter our office, and she has left a lasting good impression on all of our clients for more than 18 years.
Not only will she be missed by myself and our office staff, but will be missed by the numerous clients she has impacted positively for more than 18 years.
Audrey is the consummate professional, and took her role with Farm Bureau very seriously and treated each patron with kindness and professionalism.
The Farm Bureau family is losing a great asset, and her dedication to striving to be the best will not easily be replaced.
I wish her the best in retirement, as she will take on a new role of being the best grandmother, mother and wife. She will now be able to pour the same dedication she showed here at the office into her family, and keep impacting the world with her unmatched kindness.
Audrey you will be missed!
