Digital business cards for Farm Bureau agents are coming soon.

Traditional business cards have been a marketing mainstay for well over a century. But in today's fast-paced business world, digital business cards have quickly become the standard for electronically sharing contact information. Digital business cards are electronic versions of traditional business cards that can be shared instantly with other smartphone users. “A digital business card allows for a nice user experience,” says Eddie Colon, Web Developer at the Home Office. “It allows users to have your number, email address, Facebook, and LinkedIn information all in one place. This information can also be easily downloaded into Outlook.”
Digital business cards were a key talking point of Billy Williams’ ICECREAM presentation at Statewide. After attending Williams’ presentation, Eddie asked Jer Hermance, Software Developer at the Home Office, if digital business cards were something they could pursue. “We can do that,” Jer said, and he and Eddie began working on the cards with the help of Samantha Chaffin, Business Development Lead at the Home Office. “Sam kept the project going,” Eddie adds. The project is winding down and the cards should be ready for agents soon. Samantha says agents should "look for instructions in the near future about how to create and use their digital business cards."
Studies show that if a prospect can instantly add your business information to their contact list, they are three times more likely to contact you when they need your products or services. For this reason alone, it’s clear that a digital business card is must-have technology for successfully marketing your agency.
