For over 72 years, Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho has been there for Idahoans when they need us. When the coronavirus pandemic swept through Idaho last March, Farm Bureau employees and agents quickly mobilized to create a fundraising event. Within one week, $52,000 had been raised. Donation checks were soon mailed to charitable organizations across the state.
The letters (below) and photos (above) received in return speak of the impact the donations made to their recipients.
We are proud to belong to an organization of such caring and compassionate people.
CORONAVIRUS RELIEF THANK YOU LETTERS
SEICAA Meals on Wheels would like to thank Farm Bureau's Charitable Contributions Committee for their generous donation. Your donation will help ensure elderly and/or disabled individuals who otherwise would not receive a meal.
Meals on Wheels not only provides a meal, it also serves as a safety and wellness check while filling the void of loneliness for many of our clients. Thank you for your support of SEICAA.
Businesses like yours make Pocatello such a great community!
-Andrea DeMartinis, Senior Services Director, Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency
Thank you again for the incredibly generous donation to the Idaho State Veterans Home! Your gift at such a challenging time for everyone is humbling and extremely thoughtful.
Our veterans deserve only the best, and this donation is an illustration to them that the Farm Bureau community stands ready to help keep them safe.
Once this outbreak is contained, we would love to have your employees stop by to put a face to the many people you helped protect with your gift.
Sincerely,
-Rick L. Holloway, Administrator, Idaho State Veterans Home, Boise
Thank you so much for the very generous donation to our Food Bank. What a way to start our day! This donation will definitely help us give people hope.
We are seeing new families every week that have never been in this situation, they are so uncertain about everything right now. Knowing their family will have food is a huge blessing and relief.
Thank you again for your generosity!
-Joyce Dexter, Director, Lake Community Food Bank, Coeur d’Alene
On behalf of Lake City Center, our staff, and clients, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your recent generous donation to our center.
It is gratifying to know that during these most challenging times, Farm Bureau Insurance of Idaho is committed to assist Idaho non-profits such as Lake City Center. You are the true heroes! Although we continue serving the essential services of our community residents, it would be impossible to continue doing so during COVID-19, without the help and support of caring individuals, businesses, and organizations such as Farm Bureau Insurance of Idaho.
Your donation will be applied toward expenses necessary to maintain our "Meals On Wheels" and innovative "Drive-Thru" Lunch Programs. Continuation of these programs will ensure that our most vulnerable residents receive daily hot, nutritious meals while adhering to "stay at home" and "social distancing" mandates.
Thank you for your generosity during these most difficult times. Farm Bureau Insurance of Idaho is a true blessing to our community! Words cannot adequately express our appreciation to each and every one of you for facilitating this donation on behalf of all employees and agents of Farm Bureau Insurance of Idaho. With our gratitude and respect,
-Bob Small, Administrative Director, Lake City Senior Center,
Coeur d’Alene

We just wanted to personally thank you and Morey’s Steakhouse for the awesome steak salad. Most of the time truck drivers go unnoticed.
Thank you. God Bless one and all involved!

Lake City Community Church gratefully acknowledges a financial gift of $2,400.00 made to the Lake City Community Food Bank. This gift helps us continue to meet the nutritional and spiritual needs of many families and individuals in Kootenai County.
Our mission of our Food Bank is to reach out to those with needs and to love, encourage, teach, and support them in their journey back toward self-sufficiency. We continue to spread God's message of love and hope by providing food and prayer to those who walk through our doors.
Due to the generosity of our donors, we served over 1,364 adults, 788 children, and 1,502 seniors this past year by distributing 90,479 pounds of food. I am so grateful for the partnership of many generous donors and volunteers.
May God richly bless you for your generosity. Sincerely,
-Mark Mitchell, Associate Pastor/Business Administrator, Lake City Community Church, Coeur d’Alene
