I am pleased to announce that John Dunlop will be joining the company as Vice President of Underwriting. John’s first day will be on Wednesday, April first.

 

John has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, spanning all lines of business, and earned his CPCU designation in 1997. He has strong underwriting experience and knowledge in the commercial lines of business including property, general liability and commercial auto. In addition, he has expertise in specific classes of business including farm, retail, habitational, manufacturing, and winery/vineyard.

 

Most recently, John was the Vice President of Commercial Lines for Oregon Mutual Insurance Company. He served in that role for six years, overseeing 45 team members across Oregon, Washington, California and Idaho. John had full responsibility for commercial lines underwriting, rating/services, and product development. Prior to his time at Oregon Mutual, John served in various underwriting roles at QBE North America, Ohio Casualty and Preferred Mutual Insurance Company. 

 

John is currently relocating to the Pocatello area.
