The first "Reasons to Love Idaho" photo contest, launched in 2009, challenged residents from all over Idaho to share what they loved about Idaho.

 

We were amazed by the quality and breadth of the over 3,500 submissions, a few of which you can seen here.

Besides showcasing outstanding photography, the contest also served as a touch point for current customers and as an introduction for new prospects who may not have heard of of Farm Bureau Insurance.

 

It also helped back up our claim that "We Know Idaho. We Grew Up Here."

​

By the time the contest concluded, the website had seen 92,629 unique visitors, and over 100 contestants became Farm Bureau Insurance customers.

 

For all these reasons, we're excited to announce the return of the "Reasons to Love Idaho" photo contest.

 

The contest / website will launch in July.

 

Employees and agents are welcome to submit photos, but, unfortunately, are unable to win prizes.

THE PRIZES FOR EACH QUARTERLY CONTEST PERIOD ARE:

• First Place: $500 Amazon gift card

• Second Place: $250 Amazon gift card

• Third Place: $100 Amazon gift card

• People's Choice: $200 Amazon gift card

​

Each quarterly contest period has two rounds of judging.

 

The first round consists of website visitors voting for their favorite photos. The photo receiving the most votes wins the People's Choice award.

​

During the second round of judging, Farm Bureau judges choose the First, Second, and Third Place award winners.

​
